There are a couple of special events happening this next week:
Tuesday, May 10th at 1:30 - Tie Dying shirts! The 4th grade classes will be tie dying t-shirts on Tuesday, May 10th. We are asking that students bring in a white, cotton t-shirt to dye. Parents are welcome to join us! You can find more information on the sheet sent home today.
Thursday, May 12th - Field Day! Our class will be going to field day Thursday afternoon, while primary classes will be attending in the morning. Mrs. Kennedy is looking for parent helpers, so if you think you could help, please e-mail her at [email protected] or let me know and I'll pass on your name.
May 19th Bowling
We are still collecting $5 to help us cover the cost of bowling. Thank you to those who have already sent in money! Any and all parents are welcome to join us for this event.
Library books, instruments and skis
It's the time of year when the school is collecting school materials, so if you child has any library books, instruments or skis that need to come back, please send them in as soon as possible.
Next week:
In Reading, we will finish up our novel book jacket project.
In Writing, we will wrap-up our biographies.
In Math, we will work on Unit 12, which works with rates.
In Science, we will finish up Rocks and Minerals. Students will have an Alaska current events homework assignment next week. More information will come home with the students on Monday.
